I cannot recommend this place enough! The salon is beautiful, the staff is so sweet and friendly, the atmosphere is everything you could want in a salon! As a curly hair girl who has so much PTSD with bad hair experiences I can say it was by far the most amazing and awesome salon I’ve been to! Zaida not only took her time doing my hair, she also gave me so much helpful tips, tricks, and information about how to not only maintain my curls but to also have beautiful healthy bouncy curls. Kierra did a consult for two friends, and then haircuts for both. She did a phenomenal job!! I can't begin to explain how amazing she was at truly helping both with their different types of curls and how exactly to style and handle both. Then during the cut really taking the time to listen to what each wanted and showing them exactly what they can do to make the curls even better in the future. It really was a life saver. I'm one of those "hate my curly hair,  wish it were straight" girls.  In my thirties I finally decided to embrace the stupid curls.  I'm 46 now.  It has become important to find someone who knows how to cut curly hair. I was a walk-in at Helix, and Michaela took very good care of me.  She took the time to face me and understand what I wanted. DIAMOND!! She did such an amazing job. I was pretty clueless when it came to taking care of my hair and what products to use (as are most of us—thats why we go to the experts…& Diamond is an expert)! I walked in with my hair begging for some love & I walked out literally looking like a new woman with more knowledge! I spent years trying to find someone who could cut curly hair & actually know what theyre doing—I finally don’t have to look anymore. THANK YOU Diamond!!! I cannot express how happy I am!!
